Terms of sale

Version of 30 October 2026

The seller

TheWayITis, VAT BE0846788521, Rue de Suède 8, 1060 Brussels, Belgium.

You can reach us at contact@thewayitis.be or on +32 478 84 69 00, Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. Our shop is online only: we have no store and no depot.

Scope

These terms apply to sales of computer hardware and accessories made through this shop. TheWayITis's services (development, hosting…) are covered by their own terms, published at www.thewayitis.be/conditions.

Products and information

Each product page describes the product from the information given by the manufacturer and its distributors, which may change. Before you buy, if a point matters to you (compatibility, specifications, included accessories), write to us: we check it with you.

Price

The price, the VAT that applies and the shipping costs are shown before you confirm your order. The price shown when you confirm is the price you pay.

Order and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an obvious pricing error or if the product is no longer available; we tell you and refund any amount already paid.

Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, you can cancel your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the product. To do so, tell us your decision in a clear message sent to contact@thewayitis.be.

You then send the product back within 14 days of your message, complete, with its accessories. The cost of returning it is yours, unless we agree otherwise. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the product, or proof that you sent it back. A product that has clearly been used beyond what is needed to try it out may lead to a reduced refund.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Legal warranty (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, the product is covered by the legal two-year warranty of conformity from delivery. If a defect appears, tell us as soon as you notice it: the product is repaired or replaced and, failing that, you can obtain a price reduction or cancel the sale. Any commercial warranty from the manufacturer comes on top of this legal warranty and does not replace it.

Product damaged on delivery

If the parcel or the product is damaged on delivery, tell us without delay, with photos, at contact@thewayitis.be. We tell you how to proceed.

Business purchases

The shop is also open to businesses. The right of withdrawal and the legal warranty described above are those of consumers: for a business purchase, we tell you the terms that apply before you order.

Before you order, make sure the product suits your use: we help you choose, but the choice is yours.

In case of late payment, late-payment interest and a recovery fee are due under the Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.

The warranty for a business buyer is the manufacturer's, whose terms come with the product.

We are not liable for indirect damage (loss of data, revenue or profit) suffered by a business buyer, and our liability does not exceed the price of the product, except for intentional fault or personal injury.

Retention of title

The product remains our property until the price has been paid in full. The risk passes to you on delivery.

Force majeure

We are not liable for a delay or failure to perform caused by force majeure: an event beyond our control that we could not reasonably avoid (import ban, a decision by an authority, strike, fire, interruption of transport…). We tell you and refund any amount already paid for an order we cannot fulfil.

Personal data

We use your data to process your order and answer your requests. This shop's privacy policy (page /privacy) describes that processing and your rights.

Complaints and applicable law

For any complaint, write to us first at contact@thewayitis.be: we look for an amicable solution. Consumers can also turn to the Consumer Mediation Service. Belgian law applies; the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules that protect consumers.

Software

Software licences sold with the hardware remain the property of their publisher: you are only granted a right of use, under the publisher's terms.
